VARIABLES

Jobs, crews and states move the price. Revenue does not.

Quoted in writing after the WIP schedule build, before anything else starts.

  1. Open jobsUp to about 15 open jobs sits in the base price. Above that, every job adds a little to the close. See job costing.
  2. Crews and statesPayroll in Missouri and Kansas, union fringes and prevailing wage jobs move you to Books and payroll.
  3. Bonding and banksA surety review or a bank line with covenants means a monthly WIP and reporting: Construction controller. See WIP and bonding.
  4. The state of the booksClean books close fast. Months of unreconciled jobs take longer, and we say so before we start.

RFI LOG · BEFORE YOU BOOK

Questions about the price

Something else? Call (816) 555-0148.

RFI 01Why start with a WIP schedule?

Because it shows us, and you, where every open job really stands: percent complete, over and under billings and profit fade. It is $1,250 fixed (illustrative), takes ten business days, and the fee is credited to your first month if you stay. See WIP schedules.

RFI 02What changes the monthly price?

Open jobs, crews and states. More than about 15 open jobs, a second payroll state, union fringe reporting or several entities add time, and we quote that in writing before anything starts.

RFI 03Is certified payroll extra?

No, it is inside Books and payroll and Construction controller. Catching up on weeks that were never filed is $90 per week of reports. See crew and certified payroll.

RFI 04Do you prepare the tax return?

Yes, the construction tax return and planning is priced separately from $2,800 a year, because it depends on the entity and the states. See construction tax.

RFI 05Are these real prices?

They are illustrative prices for a concept site. Ironbark Accounting is a fictional firm created for portfolio purposes.
